Hello,
On my xbox 360 there are two accounts, my husbands and mine. His connects fine to xbox live but today (i used it fine yesterday) mine wont connect. So i tried to recover my gamertag to see if that helped but when it trys to connect it says 'cant sign in to xbox live, make sure storage device is connected and that you are connected to the internet 80150003:0' but my husbands still connects fine?
So i deleted my account from my xbox and tried again to recover it but no luck.
I phoned the xbox helpline and she said it was a corrupted account and that i would just have to delete it and lose all my data. I asked her what would happen to my 2 day old subsription and she said it could still be used by my new account that i will open, is that true? oohh im not happy!

Hi there,
if you created the account with a prepaid code, no you will not get that code back. So make sure they don't cancel the account.
When you try to recover it you said you are getting an xbox live signup unavailable error right? Try the following troubleshooting:
- Try a direct connection with your modem and recovering the account - Go to your system blade, go to memory and gamer profiles. Make sure there is not a profile with the same name there, or a corrupted profile, if so, delete it - If you are using a router connection but cannot do a direct connection, then make sure your NAT is open by testing your connection. NAT is the last part of the test. If the NAT comes back anything other thne open you need to setup port forwarding for your router. If you are using a router I recommend this step anyways. - Try clearing the console cache by going to system---> memory---> hit Y on the Hard Drive for Device Options---> On the screen with rename/format, move the cursor over rename and put in on the controller XX LB RB XX This is XX left button right button XX this will perform drive maintenance select yes to continue then attempt downloading your profile again with the direct connection if possible.
If none of this solves the problem then yes the profile may be corrupt. Call 1 800 4 my xbox
