Go to your console make sure your clock in the system/console settings has correct date and time;
Go to the System blade and memory and highlight the harddrive click Y for Device options and then press XX Left Bumber[LB] and Right Bumper[RB] amd XX and then do the maintainence it just clears up cache does not delete any thing
I do every month, then restart your console see if it still does the freezing;
If not make sure you dont have the game and make sure you dont have any correpted profiles, games etc in the hard by going to system blade/memory/ and selection of all
IF NOTHING WORKS JUST WAIT ON THE SAME FREEZING SCREEN SOMETIME IT WILL TRY TO CONNECT TO XBOX LIVE FOR UPDATES OR INFORMATION TO GATHER FOR YOU MESSENGER RELATED
TRY CLICKING BACK [B] BUTTON AND WAIT 10 MINS IF IT DOES NOT GO BACK THEN CALL XBOX CUSTOMER SUPPORT 1-800-469-9369
